Rough Cut Screening: Sleeze Lake

IFP Chicago members are invited to a rough cut screening of Sleeze Lake, an upcoming documentary from IFP Chicago members Nick Nummerdor and Andrew Morgan.

Sleeze Lake Synopsis: The year is 1977 and the custom van movement is at full-tilt-boogie. Midwest Vans Ltd is a club at the center of everything. Over 500 members and with multiple chapters, Midwest Vans set out to throw a truck0in to best all truck-ins. At a small campground in Monticello, Indiana, they set about building a ramshackle resourt town around what they christened "Sleeze Lake." They expected a few thousand people and a good time. Instead, over 6,000 vans and over 20,000 people showed up. That's when sh*t hit the fan.

When & Where: 6:15pm on Wednesday, January 15th at Flashpoint Chicago (28 N Clark). Follow our social media feeds for additional information. RSVP to info@ifpchicago.org or register on the Facebook event page.
