Website Manager

The Website Manager (WM) is responsible for the day to day upkeep of the festival website,

overseeing and coordinating all aspects of cuff.org including but not limited to: Festival schedule, trailers and other video content, news items, social media and festival store. The WM will develop and oversee new and existing initiatives (including introducing advertising space to the site and updating online archive and online store).

Evening and weekend hours required. The WM is seasonal position, part-time for the month prior to the festival but full-time during the festival week. The position runs March 15, 2017 - June 15, 2017. The WM reports to Artistic Director and Assistant Director and Executive Director.

The WM will prepare a festival wrap report and will coordinate a post-festival exit interview with Artistic Director and Assistant Director.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and update the festival website

  • Work closely with site developer/designer to understand structure, design and pro

  • Seamlessly format and integrate the festival schedule into the existing website

  • Upload new content on a regular basis (including daily updates and announcements during the Festival)

  • Use site metrics tools to track site traffic, performance, and page views then produce reports

  • Work closely with Social Media Coordinator to integrate social media content on website

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in digital design

  • Thorough knowledge of website design practices

  • Proficiency in WordPress, and fluency in HTML coding language.

  • Attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills
