Meet the Funder: Independent Television Service - June 23, 2016

Documentaries are more popular than ever, yet finding financing remains a major challenge for independent producers. IFP Chicago steps into the information gap by hosting an event about funding opportunities with the Independent Television Service (ITVS), a major funder for public television programs. IFP Chicago's "Meet the Funder: Independent Television Service" event will take place on Thursday, June 23, 6:30 PM at 2112, a business incubator focused on the creative arts, located at 4245 North Knox Avenue, Chicago, IL 60641.

San-Francisco-based ITVS funds, presents, and promotes award-winning documentaries on public television and cable, innovative media projects online, and the Emmy Award-winning weekly series Independent Lens, which airs on Monday nights at 10 PM on PBS.
